One hour before show time and were running out of room in the showroom...

Sunday, October 9th from 1-5 PM, Weinhart Design was packed to a full house and even had LP & CD sales going on from East Wind Imports & Ma Recording and a few others with catered food hosted by the Los Angeles & Orange County's Society and the society provided a a public address system so the overflow people outside could hear what was going on inside. Attendance neared 100 and Weinhart Design treated everyone to a truly "cost no object system". A great time was had by all.

David Weinhart, President of Weinhart Design in Bel Air, and V.P. of the Society hosted the Open House and LAOC gathering along with the One and Only Bob Levi President of the LAOC.

It was a real treat to have the renowned distributor Garth Leerer, President of Musical Surroundings here to share information on Clearaudio and all things analog...

Dan Meinwald a Vice President of the Audio Society and importer and Distributor for, EAR, Marten Speakers, Townshend Audio and Jorma Design Cables. Dan treated us to the U.S. Premier of the E.A.R. Tube DAC by Tim de Paravicini a full featured DAC including direct optional variable volume out (it sounded fantastic and will sell for around $6,000) and was clearly a TOP REFERENCE, the E.A.R. 912 Professional Tube Control Centre (Weinhart Design's Reference Pre & Phono), in a system powered by two E.A.R. 890 Tube Power Amplifiers (our Reference Tube Amplifiers). Lastly we were using the World Renowned Magico Q-5 Speakers and had the two of the new Velodyne DD-12+ subs supplementing the bass and equlizating the lowest frequencies connected by speaker level connections without a high pass crossover (Magico's running full range). The sound was the best we have ever experienced here at Weinhart Design!

A good view of Weinhart Design and the cost no object system we were showing with Dan Meinwald testing before the event. It should be noted that this is essentially the same Audio Reference System we have on display every day.

Conditioning was all done by Synergistic Research and we featured the all newest Interconnects and speaker cables and to put it mildly, the new series cables represent the best sound we have ever heard at surprisingly reasonable prices (call for details).
